Interesting, and the idea of a psycho magnetic reversal rather than an evolution from liberal progressivism makes intuitive sense. I do think that "fairness" is also a progressivist ethic, and I suspect it's through extreme notions of fairness (well known and utilised by the totalitarian progressives in the real-communism countries) that this reversal could be jump started.
